Satellite VSAT Banking Network for Seven (7) DAB Bank Regional Sites in Afghanistan. (Completed- August 2006)

The network provides to DAB Bank and its branches all over Afghanistan, the capability of High Speed Data Transfer, Voice over IP (VoIP), Internet Connection and secure VPN communication among all its locations.

The network for the bank includes a Hub Station Located in Kabul with Regional Stations located in Gardez, Mazar-e-Sharif, Konduz, Jalalabad, Herat, and Kandahar throughout Afghanistan.

The project includes the implementation, on-site management, integration and Network testing and verification of the Hub Station, and the Regional Stations. This gives the remote branches for VOIP and high speed internet connectivity.

Sintelsat has successfully implemented the project including logistic support, on-site program management, customs clearance, warehousing, shipping, and security at different branch locations throughout Afghanistan.
